Sheepskin Insoles

A sole-warming experience.

Nothing quite matches the warmth and softness of genuine sheepskin. Breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally anti-bacterial, it truly is nature's little miracle. All of our mukluks come with a sheepskin footbed, but you may want to stock up on extras—with footwear this comfortable, you'll be wearing them a lot. A fresh set of thick sheepskin insoles breathes new life into your beloved boots and moccasins. The fluffy wool can become compacted or squished over time. Now you can bring a second life to a pair of mukluks you've had for years just by adding a new insole.

How to use your insoles:
Insert your new sheepskin insole into your Manitobah shoe. The insole should lay flat in your footwear, on top of the existing foot bed. This sheepskin insole is designed for Manitobah footwear that features our Tipi Vibram sole. If necessary, you can use scissors to trim your inserts. To do so, follow the shape of the heel, removing a small portion along the bottom edge. Fraying of the sheepskin may occur while trimming. Fraying will not affect the function or integrity of the insole.

For colored insoles, some color bleed or "crocking" is normal and a result of the dyeing process; to clean, simply remove the transferred dye by gently wiping with rubbing alcohol or the Manitobah Care Kit.
